Living and Dining
Gather in the spacious living room, where high ceilings and pocket doors set the stage for connection. A large SMART TV and plush sofa invite cozy movie nights, while the formal dining room seats eight for shared meals that feel timeless. French doors lead to the backyard, extending the living space into the open air.
Kitchen
The fully modern kitchen is designed for those who love to cook and connect. Granite countertops, a generous island with a breakfast bar, and a beverage fridge make it both beautiful and practical. You’ll find everything you need for group dinners or morning coffee rituals - from a Cuisinart dual coffee maker, Keurig and coffee grinder to a full suite of nonstick cookware, serving ware, and place settings for sixteen.
Sleeping Arrangements
Each of the three bedrooms is thoughtfully named and uniquely styled. The Windsor and The Kensington occupy the main floor, each with a private en suite full bathroom. Upstairs, The Buckingham offers a secluded retreat spanning the entire second floor - complete with a desk and chair for remote work. Every room includes a SMART TV, blackout curtains, and sustainably produced Oeko-Tex linens for a restful, hypoallergenic sleep.
Bathrooms
Each ensuite bath reflects both style and care, stocked with luxury, eco-friendly bath products, makeup towels, mirrors, and hair dryers. Low VOC paint and sustainably sourced materials create a refreshing, clean environment.

Walk to work! Just steps away from our main house, Frogmore Cottage, is a free standing office for two. Adjustable height desks, ergonomic seating, monitors, high speed Internet, a wireless printer, coffee station and more means you're up and running the day you check in.

Step out into an expansive backyard shaded by old pecan trees, crepe myrtles, and palms. The wooden deck invites lingering over meals or quiet conversation, while a fire pit with surrounding chairs offers a cozy spot to gather under the stars. San Antonio’s mild winter weather makes this space enjoyable most of the year, with trees that help keep the air cool even in summer.

The home includes high-speed WiFi, central air and heating, a Simplisafe security system (with exterior cameras only), digital entry, washer and dryer, and environmentally friendly cleaning products. Everything has been considered for comfort, safety, and peace of mind.

The Nickerson House experience is turnkey and complete with monthly maintenance. No need to worry about taking care of the yard or cleaning and polishing the miles of woodwork in the Nickerson House. We take care of all of this for you. Our expert cleaning service makes twice a month visits makes living in a historic Victorian a breeze. Twice a month our yard service mows and maintains the yard. Both yard maintenance and cleaning services are included in the monthly fees. If you’d prefer weekly cleanings, or additional yard services we can arrange that for you for an extra fee.
The Nickerson House is professionally managed. Our rental management company is on call 24-hours a day to help you get your questions answered, address any issues or concerns and help you have a wonderful stay at this historic property.

Everything in this house was a dream. This house had some of its original doors, knobs, flooring, etc. and as soon as you walk in, you know that families have made so many memories in this house and have taken pride in the history of the house.
The host thought of everything you would need and it truly felt like home. This is truly a house where the pictures don’t do it justice. You have to stay there and see all the tiny details in this amazing home, and feel the vibe of being in a house like this. I can’t put into words how special it felt. I couldn’t have asked the host for anything extra! They thought of everything.

This stay at the Nickerson House was amazing! We were only in town for the weekend but the accommodations here were so great. The home was extremely clean, felt secure with the security system, and even let us park in the back so we knew everything was safe and secure during our stay. Nothing in town was more than 15 minutes away and it was a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We loved it and will definitely be back!

We took classes at the Culinary Institute of San Antonio. The campus was so close.
It was a plus to have a kitchen at 607 Mason that had everything we needed to prepare our own meals.
Nice that each couple had their own private bath.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the grandeur of the Victorian architecture. The exterior boasted intricate details and a timeless charm that transported me back in time. The interior was equally impressive, with elegant furnishings modern decor that added to the ambiance.
The host's attention to preserving the historical integrity of the house was commendable. Each room was carefully curated, showcasing a blend of modern amenities and vintage charm. The comfortable beds, cozy sitting areas, and well-appointed bathrooms made for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

This house is so charming and welcoming. And because its a historical home, it has so many unique features that you wont find in most homes. Our family loved exploring the inside. Its also worth noting that the beds are super comfy and it's only a few minutes away from all the fun things to do in downtown San Antonio!!
